Occasionally the coolant warning light comes on — the level sensor is likely acting up as the coolant is at the top level and there is no leak, and it has been driven like this for thousands of kilometres!

Sometimes another red warning light comes on, especially with a cold engine, and the vehicle becomes sluggish. Switching the electrics off usually clears it immediately and it runs normally again — the vehicle prefers to be driven, so just give it some hard running.

Regular service is due immediately.
