For repair or for parts as seen at the time of sale — an Audi A4 quattro automatic with a slightly less common engine. The car was in daily use until 30 December 2025; it has since stood outside — hence frozen and dirty in the photos (outside and inside) due to the weather. Defects and other observations

  • Vehicle licensed until 24 January 2026; after that it will be prohibited from driving

  • Allows oil into the engine and the exhaust has started to smell of oil. See photos and the workshop diagnosis. The owner’s fault reader occasionally reports a camshaft timing error. On longer trips it consumes oil; on short trips it does not use much oil.

  • Fails the emissions test due to an engine fault. See photos and the inspection rejection list

  • Front brake discs need replacement; rejected

  • Neither main beam works. On the rejection list: the left dipped beam works intermittently; the left parking light mounting is loose and not working. Rear brake light does not work. Repair recommended for these.

  • Power steering leaks a small amount of oil from somewhere when the wheels are turned to full lock

  • Despite this, the car runs well; gearbox and quattro drive work

  • Rust damage; see photos

  • An auxiliary light was recessed under the number plate, so the grille is missing a couple of lower pieces

  • Audi rings from the boot lid are present

  • Rear window wiper removed but included

  • No spare wheel
