Please note in particular:

• Inspection of the item

  • Inspect the item and the information provided before bidding.

  • On-site inspection is recommended. Viewings are arranged by prior agreement.

  • The item is sold "as seen" and the seller is not responsible for any defects, omissions or hidden faults.

• Binding nature of the bid

  • Bids are binding; there is no right of exchange or return.

  • The seller declares that the information given in the listing is, to the best of their knowledge, correct, but the buyer is responsible for verifying the information and the item's suitability before bidding.

  • If the seller does not notify acceptance or rejection of the highest bid within two (2) working days of the auction's end, the bid will no longer bind the bidder.

  • If the buyer does not pay the purchase price within the agreed time or the sale is otherwise cancelled for reasons attributable to the buyer, the seller has the right to:

    • Cancel the sale without further notice, and

    • Resell the item at auction or otherwise in the manner the seller deems best, and

    • Charge the buyer a contractual penalty of at least fifty (50) percent of the purchase price.

    In addition to the contractual penalty, the buyer is liable for any additional costs incurred by the seller and any loss arising, for example, if the item is resold at a lower price.

• Collection and storage

  • Free storage is 7 days from acceptance of the bid. Thereafter storage will be charged according to the price list.

  • The buyer must ensure before bidding that they can collect within the deadline.

  • On collection, the buyer must provide their own carriers, packing materials and transport equipment. The seller has no obligation to provide equipment for collection.

  • If the buyer does not collect the item at the agreed time, the seller may charge storage fees or cancel the sale at the buyer's expense.
