Please note in particular:

• Inspection of the item

  • Examine the item and the information provided about it before bidding.

  • On-site inspection is recommended. Viewings are arranged by appointment in good time.

  • The item is sold as seen and the seller is not liable for any defects, shortages or latent faults.

• Binding nature of offers

  • Bids are binding and there is no right to exchange or return the item.

  • The seller declares that the information given in the listing is correct to the best of their knowledge, but the buyer is responsible for verifying the information and the suitability of the item before bidding.

  • If the seller does not notify acceptance or rejection of the highest bid within two (2) business days of the end of the auction, the bid is no longer binding on the bidder.

  • If the buyer fails to pay the purchase price within the agreed time or the sale otherwise falls through due to reasons attributable to the buyer, the seller has the right to:

    • Cancel the sale without separate notice, and

    • Re-sell the item at auction or otherwise in the manner the seller deems best, and

    • Charge the buyer a contractual penalty of at least fifty (50) percent of the purchase price.

    In addition to the contractual penalty the buyer shall be liable for any additional costs incurred by the seller and any loss resulting, for example, from re-selling the item at a lower price.

• Collection and storage

  • Free storage is provided for 7 days from acceptance of the offer. After that storage fees will apply according to the price list.

  • The buyer must ensure before bidding that they can collect the item within the deadline.

  • On collection the buyer must have their own carriers, packing materials and transport equipment. The seller is not obliged to provide equipment for collection.

  • If the buyer does not collect the item at the agreed time, the seller has the right to charge storage fees or to cancel the sale at the buyer's expense.
